While I’ll be ploughing my way through various methods of bible reading (which I’ll blog about next), alongside this, I’ll also seek to memorise a whole heap of bible verses.
Currently, I’ve got a list of 356 verses/passages.
Which is… a lot. Approximately 2% of the entire Bible.
It’s… ambitious that I’ll memorise them all.
But, as long as I intentionally continue to bump up against these foundational texts, then I’ll have a change to commit them to familiarity (if not actively memorise them) but also be far better equipped to understand and defend my faith.
